Well, I've got to say, we had it coming. Last week's class attendance was horrible. Like half the class (literally) didn't show up for class last week, because they were 'unwell' (more likely mugging at home), and this week, the teachers took their revenge.

Of my 6 subjects in IB, 4 subject had absent teachers this week. Math, Chem, English, Chinese. Tuesday was the worst. 4 hours of no teachers in class. 4 WHOLE hours. You know, I like the occasional free period or so, but don't you think 4 hours is a little extreme? Especially so close to our exams. =P

Well, tomorrow is Honours Day, the day where we sit in the audi for hours stoning as random people who don't want to be there receive prizes they don't really care about. I'm quite interested to see the attendence count then.

Well, later!

Wahh, still recovering from the onslaught known as the ACS(I) swim PE yesterday...

Heh, the genius that I am decided hey, lets go volunteer to join the 'D' group so it'll be really slack! Turns out only the 'D' group needs to go for swimming training, the rest of the people just played ball in the Olympic pool... =S

Another stroke of genius caused me to decide, hey, let's try to swim each lap taking only one breath! Granted I managed to do it, but my muscles became severly oxygen-deprived. I could have sworn that my skin turned bluish... =P

Ended up totally bushed after that... Barely even paid any attention during Math class later, and started talking a lot of nonsense about complex numbers that I really don't think I'll disclose here, for fear of shaming myself publicly. =P In the end, by the time I reached the library for my planned study time, I could barely even walk... I think I just sat there with my book open on the table in front of me and stoned there for over 2 hours. Didn't even have energy to eat dinner last night.

Then the worst thing was this morning. I woke up really early (considering I slept at like 8 last night), about 4:30 am, and found to my horror, I couldn't move. You know those dreams where you can't move no matter how hard you try? Well, this was just like it, only worse, because I knew I was awake from the enormous cramp I got the moment I manage to budge my leg even an inch.

Next week, I'm not gonna bring my swimming trunks. See how the teacher forces me to go back into that swimming pool. =S

Haha! Finally finished my TOK Oral Presentation. And my worries were unfounded. My teacher said that my presentation was creative, so he gave me more marks! Yay! Ok, still recovering from the shock. =P

Yesterday after school, the Econs HL pple went to the Asia-Pacific Brewery (aka beer factory), and my chem teacher was chaperoning, so he asked some of us to go along too! I had alot of fun. Too bad for the pple who decided not to go (we had like 3 empty places) Haha, very interesting to see the beer-making process, like the 1.8 tons per brew of malt, and the pungent smelling hops extract and 100 million hectolitres of alcoholic beverages the factory pumps out every year. Whats more, after the tour we all went to tavern to drink ... Coke! Haha, what were you expecting? We just sat there and chatted for like half the tour drinking Coke and eating peanuts. As Oli put it, "I wouldn't mind coming here again for nuts." =) Hehe, can't wait for the next field trip. =P

Today the most interesting thing happened to me. Like 3 random unrelated people came up to me to ask me about me joining choir. Even my form teacher, Mdm Ranjee, the teache i/c of school choir asked me why I never join choir... I didn't know my singing so good... =)

Wah, my head is getting too big already. Haha, I wouldn't mind joining choir actually, but imagine what havoc it would wreak on my schedule next year during SYF time, coupled with the IBDP examinations. Would be an interesting experience though, seeing if we can use the skills acquired during band prac for other musical 'instruments'.

Tomorrow, I got my (mock) TOK presentation!!! I did this debate thingie, only I didn't want to appear to be debating with myself (like i went crazy or something), so I used my 1337 OOTS drawing skills to create a mini comic strip! Haha, dunno if its too informal though, guess I'll find out tmr! (Or next week, depending on the schedule =P)

Well, I'll post again about the outcome of the presentation. Till then!

Fine

Wahh... I noticed that recently, *someone* has been ignoring me. Ok, not really ignoring, its more like giving me the cold shoulder. =( Whenever I approach the person I get brushed off with single sentence replys. What's worse, I don't even know what what I did to make the guy angry in the first place. =S Reminds me of the last time this happened to me.

It was when I was still in primary school, just before the PSLE. I dunno whether it was exam stress or something, this girl sitting next to me (I think her name was Ann Kay) got really angry with me and refused to talk to me. I still don't know why she got so angry, and when I asked her she refused to tell me why. *Sigh* I hope this is not going to be a repeat episode.

Miserable. =( What did I do??? If you're reading this post, sorry for whatever I did!

Wahhh, just wasted my time in school...again!

Yesterday, I went all the way from home (in Novena, almost a 40-minute trip) to school to go for the Tokyo Kosei workshop, but guess what? I already went for the course last week, so I didn't have to report that day! Apparently I wasn't the only one; some other people also were told the wrong time, some even missed the first workshop because of this miscommunication...

Then today, I woke up late, and rushed all the way to school, only to find out the bio oly training got cancelled, so I wasted my trip there...again! Argh, this is really getting on my nerves... =P

Haha, anyway, the science centre trip was quite fun, learnt alot about the most current research in the cancer field... Also got a chance to meet the famous David Lane, the guy who discover the p53 gene that we all study in bio class now! Haha, and got some strange puzzle thingie for participating in the talk... Gonna go try and solve it now... Blog another time!

Haha! Just came back from my fren Jeremy's house... Went to celebrate his birthday... Played mahjong with Jeremy, Jonathan and Brandon ...Haha, Brandon got owned, he tried to win, but got pwned by the rules...

In other news, Steve Irwin is dead! =P Just found out during yesterday's 4.10 gathering. Personally, I don't really pay much attention to his shows, but don't you find it ironic that he handles thousands of poisonous snakes and dangerous crocs, but dies from a lousy ray sting? =( What's more I feel sorry for his wife and kids... He has 2 young children and a wife... I wonder what will happen to them =(

Well, I think tts all for today... Tomorrow I'm going to the Science Centre! Mebbe I'll write more then...

Haha, since everyone around has started blogging again, i decided to start too! =)

Hmmm... what should I say... Well, I tripped yesterday during the Tokyo Kosei workshop and twisted my ankle, so movement is not too convenient for me now... Which gives me an excuse not to go the library to study! =D Hehe... Well, the hols are finally here... and the feeling of boredom is setting in again... for once there's no band and stuff taking up my hols... only to study for the coming promos...

Well, I'm going back to my work...=( Blog again tomorrow if i can use the com...
